Launching a clothing brand in Dubai, from scratch
Most mistakes of a young brand are made in the first months: the wrong first buy, cash without a plan, a team without roles. In the UAE add the licence type, import duty and a season calendar unlike anywhere else. I help you launch so that operations work as a system from day one.
When you need it
- You are launching a clothing brand in the UAE
- You have an investor and need a clear plan
- You do not know how much to buy for the first collection
- You are choosing between your own site, marketplaces and a store
- The team is being built on the go
Why it happens
A new brand has no safety margin: one mistake in buying or timing can eat the cash for the whole first year. The UAE adds its own factors: mainland or free zone, 5% import duty into the mainland, 5% VAT, and peaks around Ramadan, Eid and Dubai Shopping Festival.
Licences and registration are for a local corporate service provider. I build everything after that: the money, the first collection, the calendar, the channels and the team.

- 05
Team and processes
Key roles, responsibilities and core processes from day one
What you get
- A launch plan you can show an investor
- A first buy that does not freeze your cash
- Stock on time for the first peak
- A team and processes that can grow
Format and price
We start with a consultation (AED 3,700) or the Start package: an operations and finance audit with a prioritised roadmap, from AED 18,500, 2–4 weeks. A turnkey system build is the Full cycle, from AED 73,500 or AED 37,000 a month, 4–8 months. If there is no growth within 3 months, we part ways without penalties.
Questions
01How do I start a clothing brand in Dubai?
Get the licence (mainland or free zone) through a local corporate service provider, then build the operations: a financial model with VAT and duty, a first collection tied to a sales plan, a production calendar around the UAE peaks, channels and a team.
02Should a new brand start on marketplaces or its own site?
It depends on the product and price point. Marketplaces bring traffic but delay payouts and add returns; your own site keeps the margin and the customer data. The launch model compares both before you commit stock.
03Do you work remotely?
Yes, in English or Russian, GMT+4.
